SPLIT/ REPEAT/ PAINT

Split / Repeat / Paint is a hands-on introduction to recursive subdivision, connecting Metropolis IX, the workshop, and the talk Architecture of Isolation. Through a simple p5.js sketch, the zine explores how repeated divisions transform a shared space into an abstract city, reflecting on how the spaces we divide and inhabit can become structures of solitude.
